The Ottawa Senators acquired William Eklund from the San Jose Sharks two days after trading Brady Tkachuk.
Ottawa receives Eklund, right winger Kasper Halttunen, and the rights to prospect center Brandon Svoboda from the Sharks in exchange for the ninth overall pick in the 2026 NHL draft.
